The Copperband Butterfly is one of the most beautiful and entertaining fish that can be kept in reef aquariums. They are fairly hardy, however they do a have a restricted diet. They will feed off of aiptasia but once the aiptasia is gone they will potentially turn to clam mantles, feather dusters, LPS corals, and plankton. We usually advise against trying to keep them in full-blown reef tanks, however they are in general fine for tanks that are fish only or FOWLR.
