Tridacna Squamosa Clams usually all have similar coloration, but very different patterns. We love these clams. They are extremely hearty and even a great choice for a beginner hobbyist, as long as your tank is well established. Their lighting needs are LEDs or Metal Halides. Do not place them in a lot of water movement. Make sure your tank is free of predators that might nip at their mantles. Clams are extremely docile creatures that need peace and quiet.
